關渡美術館藝術家駐館計畫/ KDMOFA AIR PROGRAM 關渡美術館 In 2006, KdMoFa (Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts) began an artist-in-residency program, inviting various artists from different countries. From May – July, Mary Sherman was the museum’s resident and a Fulbright Senior Scholar grantee. While in Taiwan, she also presented lectures on the history of collaboration in American art at the NKNU Graduate Institute of Interdisciplinary Art, National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Hualien Creative and Culture Park and the Fulbright Office in Taipei as well as conducted a workshop on collaborative practices, entitled “Here, There and Everywhere.” An exhibition of the workshop works is currently on view at KdMoFa from July 11th to August 31st.
INTRUDE 366: ART & LIFE, SHANGHAI TRIP In addition from on June 5th, Mary Sherman’s public art work, “Here Comes the Sun” (with sound by Rudi Punzo) was shown at Shanghai’s Zendai Museum of Modern Art/Jinshan Beach, China as part of the Museum’s Intrude 366: Art & Life, a public art project organized by Shanghai’s Zendai Moma.
